Description: Tree or shrub up to 15 m. Leaves 5-20 x (1-)3-7(-9) cm, glabrous below, lateral nerves 4-8 pairs. Petiole 5-20 mm. Inflorescence a cyme, many flowered, bracts and bracteoles present. Flowers 5-merous. Calyx cup shaped, 2-3 mm long. Corolla tube 3-5 mm. Fruit a drupe, 4-10 mm diam.
