Description: Tufted perennial; rhizome oblique; culms up to 2 m tall. Leaf blades up to 90cm long and 2 cm wide, lemon-scented. False panicle large, up to 60 cm long. Racemes 1-2.5 cm long. Sessile spikelets 5-6 mm long, 0.7 mm wide. Pedicelled spikelets 4-4.5 mm long.
