Description: Medium sized to large tree up to 25 - 30 m tall, bark dark greyish-brown when old. Twigs brownish with more or less appressed whitish or rusty-brown hairs. Leaves deltoid-ovate to oblong-ovate, pinnately with mostly 5 - 11 pairs of opposite or subopisite pinnae; pinnae deeply pinnatifid with entire or incised, lanceolate or linear-oblong, lobes 1 - 4 cm X (2-) 4 - 8 mm. racemes many flowered, inflorescence axis purplish ; flowers orange to golden-brown or golden yellow. Fruit with the stipe curved, slightly to strongly cernuous, blackish-purple.
