Description: Small tree to 6(-10) m, bark palid to yellowish. Stipules3-8 mm long. Leaves elliptic, 6-12(-12) x (1.5-)3.5-6(-8) cm. Petiole up to 3.5 cm long. Inflorescence a capitulum. Flowers 5(rarely 6) merous. Corolla white, tube 10-15 mm long. Syncarp1.5-2.5 cm diam.
