Description: Deciduous tree to 4 - 10 m. leaves clustered at the end of short shoots, elliptic, obovate to obovate-lanceolate, 5 - 20 X 2.5 - 9 cm, apex obtuse to slightly acute, base cuneate, above glabrous, below glabrous or pubescent on the nerves. Flowers sessile. Fruit ovoidal, yellowish, 3.5 - 5 cm diameter, edible.
