Description: Small glabrous trees. Young parts covered with a shining, resinous coat. Petiole 2-4 cm long. Leaves opposite; leaf blades 8-21 cm long and 2-5.9 cm wide. Flowers five- or six-merous, in long peduncled, dichasially branched cymes. Corolla white with the throat and tube yellow within; corolla-tube 1.8-2.5 cm long. Merocarps pendulous, 3.5-7 cm long and 3-5 cm in diam.
