Description: Herb. Leaves ovate to ovate-elliptic, 1.8 - 8 X 1.4 - 3.5 cm, truncate to rounded at base, acute; densely marked with cystoliths. Flowers pale bluish-violet or white, bracteoles ovate. Capsule clavate, to 11 - 6 mm, with a long, solid stalk, appressedly pilulose. Seeds orbicular, 2.5 - 3 mm in diameter.
