Description: A large tree with an erect trunk, young parts silky with the fine hairs. Leaves simple, stipulate; petiole 2.5 cm long; leaf blade 11.2-15 cm long glabrous. Inflorescences in axillary fascicles; 1-4 flowers flowers. Flowers small, white, sweet scented; pedicels 0.6-0.8 cm long. Fruit a fleshy berry, over 2.5 cm long, ovate-ovoid, pubescent when young, afterwards glabrous, orange yellow; seed solitary, ovoid, brown.
