Description: Evergerrn tree, 30 - 40 m tall. Leaves to 65 cm long, paripinnate; leaflets 6 - 15 (-25) pairs, mostly ovate-lanceolate to oblong-lanceolate, (5 -) 9 - 13 X 2.5 - 5.5 cm, falcate, acuminate, entire, glabrous, sometimes pubescent below, base cuneate, oblique. Flowers many, in dense, 20 - 55 cm long + pubescent panicles. Samaras broadly linear, 4.5 - 8 X 1.5 - 2.5 cm, reddish-brown, obtuse at both ends, not twisted.
