Description: Annual herb c. 30 cm high, rather diffusely branched and straggling. Leaves ovate to ovate- lanceolate, 1.5- 3 (-5) cm long, shallowly toothed to entire, acute to acuminate, almost glabrous to finely pubescent. Flowers solitary in axils. Calyx enlarging to form almost globular bladder c. 1.5 cm diameter around the smell berry.
