Description: Erect single-stemmed unarmed shrub 2 - 3 m high. Leaves concentrated towards the apex of branchlets, lamina lanceolate-elliptic, acuminate, 11 - 36 X 4 - 12 cm, dark green above, paler beneath, stellate-pubescent on both sides. Inflorescence axillary towards apex of shoots, bifurcating cymes entirely felted-pubescent, flowers nodding, creamy white. Fruit globose, erect, yellow.
