Description: Erect perennial or semiwoody shrub about 1 m high. Leaves 2-11 cm long, 1.5-9 cm wide; petiole 3-17 mm long. Flowers fascicled, 3-6 together, pedicels 2-4 mm long. Corolla greenish, 10 mm long, 5-lobed. Fruit a berry, globose, 6 mm diameter, bright red. Seeds 2.5 mm diameter.
