Description: An erect, herbaceous plant 0.5 - 1m tall. Leaves lanceolate, tapering at both ends, with a short petiole. Flowers in long-peduncled, peduncle shorter than the leaves. Merocarps fusiform, 7 - 10 cm long, 1 - 1.2 cm in diameter, long-tapering and acute at apex, smooth and glabrous.
