Description: Undershrub, to 1.5 m high. Leaves oblong-lanceolate, 4 - 12.6 X 0.4 - 2.6 cm, cuneate at base, acute to shortly acuminate at apex, undulate, glabrous, with prominent nerves beneath. Spikes terminal, lax, to 10 cm long. Capsuie not seen.
