Description: Twinning herb. Leaf blade 3-9 cm long and about as wide, acute or short-acuminate at the apex. Peduncle often exceeding the leaves. Calyx-lobes about 2 mm long, glabrous or puberulous. Corolla 1.2 - 1.8 cm in diameter, the lobes densely hairy. Merocarps 5 - 8 cm long, 1.5 - 2 cm wide, puberulous, also on the bristles.
