Description: Perennial, to 45 cm high. Leaves oblong-obovate, 4 - 8 X 1.5 - 4.2 cm, tapering from a cuneate base in to petiole, glabrous, nerves somewhat prominent beneath. Flowers axillary, in lax dichotomous cymes, pale blue. Capsule fusiform, faintly subcompressed, bluntly apiculate. Seeds 10 - 12 per loculus, orbicular, 2 mm broad.
