Description: Erect aromatic annual herbs 10 -30 cm tall. Leaves oblanceolate or spathulate, 1.5 - 6 X 0.5 - 3 cm, ontuse or acute and spinulous-mucronate at the apex, attenuate, semiamplexicaul and strongly decurrent at the base, margins + coarsely serrate-dentate, minutely glandular on both surfaces. Glomeruli ovoid-globose, 1 - 1.5 cm long, 0.8 - 1.5 cm diam., terminal on the branches.
