Description: Powerful liana reaching up to 30 m tall. Leaflets subopposite, sometimes closely alternate, oval-lanceolate, shortly acuminate at apex, more or less rounded at base, terminal one largest, 8 cm long, 3 cm broad; lateral ones 6.5 cm long, 2.5 cm broad; upper surface shining, olive green; lower surface paler with prominent reticulate venation. Flowers in axillary or pseudoterminal cymose or racemose panicles. Fruit a follicular structure. Testa membranous; pericarp woody.
