Description: |
Perennial, dioecious, climbing, semi-woody. Leaves deciduous; lamina 7 - 15.5 x 3.5 - 6.5 (-11) cm, broadly ovate to lanceolate, acute-acuminate or obtuse, apiculate, rounded or cordate at base, entire, subcoriaceous, glabrous to minutely pubescent especially beneath. Male panicles 7 - 30 cm or more long, minutely pubescent; flower pale green, bractate. Female racemes 20 38 cm long, glabrous; flowers bractate. Fruit 9 - 12 X 3 - 3.5 cm, pendent, cylindric, somewhat trigonous, apex truncate, base attenuate. Seeds not seen.
