Description: |
An annual herb, supported by a fibrous root system, 5-10 cm tall, the plant yellow-green to maroon in color. Leaves narrowly linear, up to 10 cm long; pedicels 1-1.5 cm long; young plants stand upright, while older ones form scrambling stems with only the newest growth exhibiting an upright habit; Flower petals white, pink or purple.
