Description: Annual herb, about 15-60 cm tall; stem and branches more or less densely clothed with white hairs. Leaf axils without paired spines. Leaf lamina 2.5-12 (-15) x 2-4 (-6) cm, tapering into the slender petiole. Inflorescence sessile, globose or depressed globose, about 2 cm in diameter, pinkish to deep red. Tepals 6-6.5 mm. Capsule oblong-ovoid, about 2.5 mm. Seeds brown, shining 2 mm.
