Description: Tree, up to 9-12 m tall, dioecious. Leaves simple, up to 33 cm long, up to 15 cm wide. Male racems up to 15 cm long; female racemes up to 75 cm long Both types of flowers fragrant, yellow. Fruit 2-5 cm long and about 2 cm wide, valvelty pinkish yellow or brow, filled with witish pulp containing 3-5 seeds. The puilp sweet to acid taste.
