Description: Erect herb, sometimes suffrutescent, to about 1 - 2 m tall. Leaves 60 - 100 foliolate; leaflets linear-oblong, 5 - 10 X 1.5 mm, glabrous, 1-costate, the apex subacute, mucronulate, the base asymmetrical, margin entire to ciliolate. Inflorescence axillary, racemose, 1 -few flowered, flowers orange yellow. Fruit compressed, glabrous to moderatelyhispid. Seeds reniform, black.
