Description: Large tree. Leaf stalks 1 - 2 cm long. Leaf blades coriaceous, 7 - 13 cm long, lanceolate or ovate-oblong, tapering towards the base, apex rounded or retuse. Panicles glabrous, terminal. Sepals ovate, obtuse, glabrous. Petals twice as long as the sepals, obtuse, clawed, eflexed. Fruit 3 - 4 cm long, ovoid.
