Description: Perennial herb, to about 1.3 m tall, stems erect, or prostrate, pubescent. Leaves simple 2-10.5 cm long, 0.8-4 cm wide; inflorescences racemose, many flowered; flowers 1.5-2.5 cm long on pedicels 5-8 mm long; petals yellow sometimes with reddish veins; fruit glabrous, 3-4.5 cm long, 3-5 cm long, about 1(1.8) cm wide, 15-20 seeded; seeds light brown to black, 3-5 mm long.
