Description: Tree to about 20 m tall. Leaves (7 -) 10 - 15 foliolate; leaflets elliptic, broadly oblong, or somewhat obovate, obtuse or retuse, sericeous when young, glabrescent, (1.5 -) 2.5 - 4.5 X 1 - 2 (- 3) cm. inflorescence axillary, short-paniculate, flowers violet. Fruit glabrous, 1 seeded. Seds suborbicular.
