Description: Prostrate perennial, rooting at the nodes, stems to about 0.5 m long. Leaves 3-foliolate, terminal leaflet 4-7.5 mm long, rarely to 9 mm, 3-10 mm wide, lateral leaflets smaller, 3-7 mm long, 3-8 mm wide. Inflorescence sessile, calyx 5 lobed, corolla purplish. Pods flat, linear, somewhat curved up words. Found in roadsides, open places, often a weed in lawns.
