Description: A tree 1 - 12 m tall. Leaf blade 6 - 20 cm long, 3 - 8 cm wide, elliptical or elliptical ovate, obtuse or rounded at base but shortly decurrent along petiole, acute, rarely obtuse at apex, thinly coriaceous, quite glabrous at maturity. Flowers solitary, intermodal or terminal on a short branchelets. Ripe fruit ovoid, rounded at apex, yellow to orange, smooth, pulp not edible, yellowish. Seeds 13 - 15 mm long, pale reddish-brown, testa readily peeling.
