Description: Big tree. Leaves 10-30 x 4-10 cm; acumen 7-25 mm; nerves in 14-23 pairs; 14-35 mm long. Flowers light yellow, becoming orange yellow; tepals 15, 20-45 mm long. Fruiting carples free, more or less spaced along the torus, dehiscing along the dorsal suture and finally becoming 2-valved, or concrescent, forming a fleshy syncarp.
