Description: Shrub 1- 2 m height. Branches pubescence; Stipules linear to lanceolate. Leaves attached to the stem by a 1.5 to 10 cm petiole. Blades ovate to orbicular, 5 to 7 lobes, making them superficially resemble a maple leaf. Flowers are set on short pedicels . Epicalyx is a series of subtending bracts that resemble sepals. Calyx small, 5 mm in length, cupular. Corolla pale yellow on colour, sometimes with a purple centre, and occasionally entirely purple 3- 4 cm in length. Fruit is a 3 to 4 celled capsule. Seeds covered in long white cotton.
