Description: Small to medium- sized tree, -25 m high. Leaves laxly spiral to opposite or subdistichous. Lamina 6- 19 X 3-9 cm, narrowly to acuminate, the tip -15 mm long, base cuneate, more or less symmetric, denticulate or sinuate- crenate to serrate. Figs axillary, mostly solitary, harshly scabrid, ripening yellow. Seeds 1.2- 1.4 X 0.8- 0.9 mm, shortly oblong, slightly keeled, distinctly reticulate.
