Description: Small tree, 10 m tall. Twigs terete. Young leaves pale crimson; lamina (6-) 9-17 x(4-) 7-12 cm , drying chocolate-brown, purplish above, base cordate; petiole 2-6 mm long, drying black. Cymes -8 cm long; flowers white. Fruit-2 cm diameter, globose.
