Description: A shrub to small tree - 10 m tall; smooth pale grey-brown bark. Leaf lamina 6 - 15 X 2 - 2.5 cm, elliptic, thinly coriaceous, drying pale tawny-brown beneath; base cuneate, shortly decurrent; acume - 2 cm long, slender. Flowers large, pale pink, borne sparsely in - 4 cm long slender lax terminal or axillary cymes; calyx white. Fruit - 17 mm diam., globose. Prominent terminal rim.
