| Description: |
Tree, -10 m tall, - 2 m girth, with greyish brown cracked, shallowly flaky and scroll-marked bark. All pats glabrous. Young leaves bright apple-red; mature leaf lamina 2.5 - 7.5 X 1.7 - 5.3 cm, + broadly elliptic-obovate, thickly coriaceous, distinctly glaucous beneath , bluish in live foliage, drying chocolate matt, margin revolute, especially at the narrowly or broadly cuneate base, apex retuse. Flowers many, pale pink, in slende but dence, erect, terminal or - 3 axillary cymes. Fruit ripening purplish red.
